The VMM Roster Experience
What is the difference between VMM Vocal Coaching & the VMM Roster? Our VMM Roster is for our vocalists committed to regular weekly vocal coaching and are serious about making progress. Our VMM Roster receives the full breadth of the Vocal Mastery Method in the form of handouts, online support and regular 1-1 private vocal coaching, putting it all into action. The VMM Roster Singers & VMM Artist Mentorship Artists have priority on scheduling times and are the first groups to receive the option of cancelled slots.
The VMM Roster is a group of dedicated Singers & Artists who are wanting to make real progress, and come from all age demographics and all genres. The VMM Roster has had Singers from age 5 to 95, from every musical genre. Most of the VMM Roster are professional, competitive or are very serious about performing and becoming professional Singers & Artists.

Become a regular weekly voice student with VMM and join the VMM Roster. Our VMM Roster Singers & Performers are working towards healthy vocal technique and are goal oriented. Our VMM Roster is working on mastering their vocal skills using the revolutionary Vocal Mastery Method. The consistency of regular lessons allows for real progress to occur. Our vocalists are dedicated in their practice and committed to high levels of achievement in vocal technique and performance. Our VMM Roster spans a wide array of high achievers. Some VMM Roster singers are competitive performers, auditioning for work in acting and singing, and winning awards. Most of our VMM Roster is actively working towards a professional career in music or acting.
Using the Vocal Mastery Method's 3-Ring Approach, you will be guided through clear, concise instruction that will help you get on track to real progress faster and cutting through the challenges more quickly and efficiently than with traditional methods.
Remember when it comes to vocal technique quick fixes are not often possible, and long-term training is often the only way to achieve significant results.

To be offered a spot in the VMM Roster, you must have good basic musicianship, in other words, be able to sing in tune generally well and be able to learn easy songs aurally & independently, be able to follow along musically to sing simple scales and be able to clap along to songs with a clear beat. If these are skills you're still developing that's okay, you can still apply, and we will be in touch to let you know if we have space to take you. The most important element you need to be considered for the VMM Roster is desire and a commitment to doing the work!

Performance Preparation
Our VMM Roster is full of dedicated performers, who compete regularly, apply to elite training programs and win awards. We consider performance preparation an essential part of the training we offer. Beyond vocal coaching, we offer our VMM Roster our specialized coaching in stage presence, expression, acting and movement. Singers and Performers learn to embody their characters, captivate a room with their presence and feel permission to fully be themselves on stage.
Competition Preparation
All of our VMM Roster Singers who are under age 25 are regularly competing in numerous voice competitions every year. We help to advise and guide you as to which competitions are most suited for you and your specific musical genre (your career path), We will help prepare you for the submission, any submission videos, applications and required materials. We are also invested in helping you find the right songs to compete with. Not all music is built for competitions, even if it is popular. We can help you source songs that are good for you, that showcase your abilities, push you to grow and help you succeed in your chosen genre.
Audition Planning & Preparation
Many of our VMM Roster are auditioning regularly, and this is part of the standard services we offer to our VMM Roster. At VMM, we can assist in planning out your auditions with you, if you are a Musical Theatre Singer, an Opera Singer or auditioning for summer music programs or university or music institutions. We coach your songs, arias, and monologues. We can help you in song choice, filming demos or self-tapes, outfits, slating, whatever is required for your next audition.
Vocal Exam Preparation
We have assisted numerous singers through vocal exams, helped singers who were struggling in their vocal degree at university, and vocalists in specialized arts high schools. We are familiar and well established and set up to help you through vocal exams.
VMM is based in Canada, and although we have coached vocalists through ABRSM vocal exams, we are most familiar with the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) exams, and the Conservatory Canada exams. Nevertheless, whatever the framework of vocal exams you're serious about pursuing, we can help you. We've now had over 30 vocal exams passed with First Class Honours, some even winning awards at the provincial level for their excellence.
